Description
Margalida Llompart Negre 2017, Macia Batle, red wine This red wine from island bodega Macia Batle comes from the Margalida Llompart collection. It shows a ruby garnet colour, intensive with lightly violet reflections in the rim of the glass. Very intensive and pronounced legs. The complex aromas created by the oak bring a smoky, balsamic note and later some spicy aromas like cinnamon and vanilla. Jane loves cinnamon and it is this flavour aroma that makes this wine so unique. The aromas of very ripe red fruit are also a plus. If you let the wine breathe, even creamy aromas of cocoa and toasted bread appear in the glass. Simply delicious. A long taste and persistence.
It is recommended to open the bottle one hour before serving it, as well as using a bigger voluminous glass to improve the oxygenation of the wine during the tasting.
A box contains 6 bottles

About the wine process
The fermentation takes place at around 30 ºC, with the wine remaining in contact with the fruit skins to increase the extraction of tannins. The wine is left in stainless steel tanks and then aged in French oak-barrels for twenty-four months to be further bottled and released to the market.
